It takes two to tango.

This is the biggest day of the war. The archrivals meet each other in a battle for qualification in the world cup 2010 at South Africa.

Brazil stays at the top of the table with 5 points away to fourth Argentina. The remaining schedule with two games at home (Chile, Venezuela) and one game away to Bolivia, gives them no reasons to concern for their qualification. Instead of those facts, they will play without any pressure for the result and they want to ruin Argentinean plans, for the travel to South Africa.

The Brazilian power is the creative line in the midfield. Kaka and Robinho they can compose amazing plays up front. Felipe Melo and Silva are good hard workers and they are good with the ball. Very significant is the help from the full backs, in the offensive end. Maicon and Danny Alves (who probably he will play on the left), they make runs and dangers crosses.

Coach Dunga is very practical person. He can do only the necessary things; in order his team to take the win. That means he can line up a very defensive, or very attacking team, or something mixed up. Brazil has the quality and the big name to overcome any situation.

What about Argentina?

This is ‘’do or die’’ game for biancoceleste. If they win this one, they keep two points advantage from Ecuador for sure and they will close the gap in two points from Brazil. Their schedule has two away games versus Paraguay and Uruguay and one home game versus Peru. The motivational is very high and all the top players they want to be active in this fight.

Leo Messi of course is the best player of the team and their leader. His decision to be on the bench in the opener game in La Liga, last Monday against Gijon, (because wanted to be fresh for this clash, versus Brazil), shows how significant is the result of this one. Along to Messi will play Aguero, Maxi Rodriguez and Jonas Gutierrez.

Coach Maradona is very optimistic for the game. In the last game and in some friendlies games, he shuffled the starting lineup and gave regular position to Andujar, Otamendi and Battaglia. He can inspire all the players to play for their pride and for their nation. His influence to the young Argentineans is very highly and he can take results in short terms periods.

The crowd of 42.000 fans in Rosario Central will be one of the facts that will give a big boost in Argentina. The tickets sold out in an hour’s and many fans they are willing to pay much more in order to find one of those.
I think Argentina needs the points and is closer than Brazil to win. Messi, Aguero, Mascherano and the other players with strong personality, are ready to give good performance.

Odds around 2,20 are fair.
