L.A. is Denver’s Nemesis the last years. The reigning MVP Kobe Bryant has harsh times in Colorado (due to infamous rape case), but always has the answers against the Nuggets team.
The big guys Gasol-Bynum-Odom have the advantage in the paint. The second chances and sometimes the thirds are the results of that dominance.
The Nuggets have to thank Chauncey Billups to come here. The 2004 Final MVP makes clear the roles for everybody in the team. Gave the lost explosiveness and scoring ability to Carmelo and organized the offense.
Is the first game of the series and the Lakers wanted to avoid the cruel times that gave them the Rockets Houston in previews round. The big guys and Kobe are the factors for the win. Also the home crowd gives a boost to the Lakers.
